What is the statute of limitations in Georgia?

If you believe you are the victim of age discrimination in Georgia, you will have to act fact. You will have to take legal action through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It is important to understand that when taking legal action for age discrimination, you will only have 180 days after the date the act of discrimination occurred to file your claim. If you are a federal employee,  you will only have 45 days from the date of the incident to bring attention to your claim by contacting an Equal Employment Opportunity counselor.
